About the Chocolatier,
Artisan Chef and Founder...

Both inspired by and in awe of the culinary talents of her mother and grandmother, Lisa Paige Blair chose to carry on the family tradition. She headed into her Cleveland, Ohio kitchen and fused her passions for food, art and design into miniature masterpieces: pretzels and other decadent delights drenched in delectable chocolate, then sprinkled with tantalizing toppings. Her talent and creativity would lead her to create Pretzables™, gourmet chocolate-covered creations with a hint of old-fashioned goodness.

During the 1970's, Lisa was just discovering her passion and talents. To expand her knowledge, Lisa attended Ohio State University graduating from the school of Home Economics with a Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising.

Lisa gained worldly experience and expertise through learning at the hands of renowned chefs from around the globe. She became a member of Julia Child's Food and Wine Association, where she was exposed to the world's finest culinary masters and traveled extensively. Lisa has also work as a personal chef, owned her own catering and event company, and co-owned a restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio.

Following her own set of rules, Lisa has always been known for her celebration of all things exuberant and embellished. Quality, beauty, fun and creativity inspire her workspace. "I try to remain true to my artistic instinct, culinary skills and a passionate eye for detail."

Pretzables™, a name created by her sister, was born in late fall of 2001. As a single mom, Lisa's two daughters played an integral role in her motivation to embark upon a start-up business. In the early years, family and friends helped with baking, tasting and packaging. Lisa wanted to mix her life experiences of fun, fashion and sophistication into unique and delicious treats.

Through the success of Pretzables, Lisa has had the honor of working with such diverse customers as royalty, government officials, celebrities and designers, legendary musicians and opera stars. She has appeared in local and national television shows and magazines. For three years running, Pretzables will be featured on the Food Network's Holiday Food Finds.

Lisa lectures at the college level and for prominent civic and business groups. She is active in helping other women promote their business and develop their entrepreneurial spirit. Her vivacious personality and motivational presence is contagious and inspiring.
